The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of our website about the personal data we collect, as well as the following information, if applicable:

This privacy policy works in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of Use of our website.

Applicable Laws

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this privacy policy complies with the following regulations.

Personal data must be:

  1. Processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently in relation to the data subject (lawfulness, fairness, transparency)
  2. Collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes
  3. Adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (data minimization)
  4. Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
  5. Kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed
  6. Processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage

Processing is only lawful if and to the extent that at least one of the following applies:

  1. The data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes
  2. Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or to take pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject
  3. Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject
  4. Processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person
  5. Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller
  6. Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, unless such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, particularly when the data subject is a child

For residents of the State of California, this privacy policy aims to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In the event of discrepancies between this document and the CCPA, the state legislation will prevail. If discrepancies are identified, we will revise our policy to comply with the relevant law.

By using our site, users agree to:

  1. The terms set forth in this privacy policy, and
  2. The collection, use, and retention of the data listed in this policy.

1. Personal Data We Collect

Data Collected Automatically

To measure our audience and improve the site, we collect standard technical and usage data: pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and interactions with the page. This is processed through the analytics and marketing tools listed in our Cookie Policy (section 5).

By default this measurement runs without cookies and in a privacy-preserving way (no information is stored on your device and your IP address is not retained in a directly identifiable form) — this includes a second, cookie-free analytics tool (Plausible). Marketing tools, and cookie-based analytics that recognise returning visits, are only enabled after you accept via our cookie banner — with one exception: our Pipedrive Web Visitors / Leadfeeder tool (see section 5) runs on every visit regardless of your choice.

Data Collected Non-Automatically

We may collect the following data when you perform certain functions on our site:

  • First and last name
  • Email address

These data may be collected using a contact form.

Please note: we only collect data that helps us achieve the purpose stated in this privacy policy. We do not collect additional data without notifying you first.

2. How We Use Personal Data

Personal data collected on our site will only be used for the purposes specified in this policy or as indicated on relevant pages of our site. We will not use your data beyond what we disclose.

Data collected when users perform certain functions may be used for the following purpose:

  • To be contacted by our sales team after completing the contact form.

3. Who We Share Personal Data With

Employees

We may disclose user data to any member of our organization who reasonably needs access to fulfill the objectives set out in this policy.

Third Parties

We use the following third-party service providers, which process data on our behalf and only for the purposes described in this policy:

  • PostHog (EU region, hosted in Frankfurt) — website and product analytics.
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly website analytics; runs without cookies and does not store personal data.
  • Rose / InboundX (userose.ai) — helps us understand business visitors to the site.
  • Loops — our email platform, which stores the details you submit through the contact or newsletter form.
  • Slack — our internal team-communication tool; a summary of what you submit through the contact or newsletter form is posted to a private team channel so our team can follow up.
  • Pipedrive Web Visitors (powered by Leadfeeder) — uses your IP address and page-visit activity to identify the company you’re browsing from, on every visit regardless of your cookie choice (see section 5).

We do not sell your personal data.

Other Disclosures

We will not sell or share your data with third parties, except in the following cases:

  1. If required by law
  2. If required for any legal proceedings
  3. To prove or protect our legal rights
  4. To buyers or potential buyers in the event we seek to sell the company

If you follow hyperlinks from our site to another site, please note that we are not responsible for and have no control over their privacy policies and practices.

How Long We Store Personal Data

All data stored in our system is only accessible to our employees. Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements, and a breach of this agreement would result in termination.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure our user data is secure and users are protected, there remains some risk of harm. The internet as a whole can be insecure at times, and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.

Minors

Under the GDPR, individuals under the age of 15 are considered minors for data collection purposes. Minors must have the consent of a legal guardian for their data to be collected, processed, and used.

4. Your Rights as a User

Under the GDPR, users have the following rights as data subjects:

  1. Right of access
  2. Right to rectification
  3. Right to erasure
  4. Right to restrict processing
  5. Right to data portability
  6. Right to object

How to Modify, Delete, or Contest Collected Data

If you would like your information to be deleted or modified in any way, please contact our Data Protection Officer, Martin Gross, at privacy@korint.io.

Modifications

This privacy policy may be amended from time to time in order to remain compliant with the law and reflect any changes to our data collection practices. We recommend users check our policy periodically to stay informed of any updates. If necessary, we may notify users by email about changes to this policy.

We use a cookie banner to obtain your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. Until you make a choice, no marketing cookies are set and our analytics runs in a privacy-preserving, cookieless mode.

The tools we use are:

  • PostHog (website and product analytics, hosted in the EU)
  • Plausible (website analytics)
  • Rose (Chatbot)
  • Pipedrive Web Visitors / Leadfeeder (identifies the companies visiting our site) — runs on every visit, regardless of your cookie choice.

We do not use advertising retargeting trackers or social-media tracking plugins.

Managing your choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent returns PostHog to its privacy-preserving, cookieless mode.
