The company

Tutassur is an MGA (Managing General Agent) based in Grenoble. The firm manages a diversified portfolio covering several insurance lines: motor breakdown cover, legal expenses insurance, professional indemnity, commercial combined insurance, fleet insurance and specialist products for motor trade professionals.

With a network of over 200 broker partners, Tutassur operates in a B2B2C market where speed of placement and efficient portfolio management are key competitive factors.

Challenge and objectives

Tutassur faced major challenges in managing its multi-product portfolio. The company was manually administering over 400 motor breakdown policies, with fragmented processes requiring multiple disconnected tools for quotations, policy inception, invoicing and reporting. This manual administration was time-consuming, prone to errors and significantly limited their capacity to rapidly scale their portfolio.

Facing ambitious growth targets and new product launches, Tutassur needed to fully digitalise their operations. The firm required a solution capable of centralising management of their delegated and non-delegated products, automating regulatory controls (AML, GDPR), managing their distribution network with complex commission structures, and ensuring reliable reporting to their insurer partners.

The solution

Korint deployed a comprehensive insurance platform in several phases to meet Tutassur's requirements:

1. Migration and structuring of existing portfolio

  • Migration of several hundred motor breakdown policies onto the Korint platform
  • Complete digitalisation of the policy lifecycle (quotation, inception, renewal, endorsement, cancellation)
  • Implementation of a centralised management system for all products

2. Operational and regulatory modules

  • Automated AML checks from quotation stage via integration with our partner Efficiale
  • Advanced billing management (instalments, pro-rata, first month payment)
  • Automated reminder system for outstanding premiums
  • AR24 integration for electronic recorded delivery correspondence

3. Distribution network management

  • Configuration of differentiated commission structures by product and distributor
  • Accessible platform for broker partner network
  • Real-time dashboards and reporting

4. Multi-product deployment

  • Phase 1: Motor breakdown cover (July 2025)
  • Phase 2: Legal expenses insurance (September 2025)
  • Phase 3: 5 commercial combined/professional indemnity and goods-in-transit products (December 2025)
  • Subsequent phases: Progressive extension across entire product range, for a final total of 48 deployed products (fleets, contractors' all risks, specialist products, etc.)

Results

Through this collaboration launched in July 2025, Tutassur has achieved concrete results:

  • Successful migration in under 3 months of the motor breakdown portfolio, transitioning from manual administration to a fully digitalised platform
  • Several hundred active policies managed on the platform today
  • Complete data centralisation on a single platform, delivering major efficiency gains across a dozen business verticals
  • Accelerated deployment of new products with an objective of several million euros in premium volume managed on the platform by July 2026
  • Drastic reduction in time spent on manual portfolio administration tasks, enabling the team to focus on business development

This collaboration has enabled Tutassur to structure their growth with modern technology infrastructure capable of supporting rapid expansion of their multi-product portfolio. The project continues with progressive deployment of the entire product catalogue and integration of AI modules to further automate operational processes.
